How BRANTSI handles personal data when you visit this website or contact us.

Last updated · 19 October 2026

Controller. Luís Miguel da Costa Ferreira, a sole proprietor registered in Portugal and trading under the commercial brand BRANTSI, is the controller for personal data described in this notice. Business address: Avenida do Atlântico Nº16, Escritório 2.01, 1990-019 Lisboa, Portugal. Privacy enquiries can be sent to hello@brantsi.com.

1. Scope

This notice explains how BRANTSI handles personal data when you visit this website, contact us, or communicate with us about our services and ventures.

If a separate client, supplier or commercial agreement applies to a relationship with BRANTSI, additional privacy information may also be provided where appropriate.

2. Personal data we may process

Depending on how you interact with BRANTSI, we may process:

  • Contact and identity information, such as your name, role, organisation and email address.
  • Communications, including the content of emails, website contact-form enquiries and other correspondence you send to us.
  • Commercial information you choose to provide in connection with a potential or existing business relationship.
  • Technical and security data generated when the site is requested, such as IP address, request time, browser or device information, and server or security logs maintained by hosting and infrastructure providers.
  • Optional website analytics data, if you accept Google Analytics 4 (GA4): the service may process website interactions, page views, device or browser information and limited lead-success event categories. We do not intentionally send name, email, company or message content to GA4.

We do not use this website to intentionally collect special category data, payment card data or sensitive personal data. Please do not send such information unless it is genuinely necessary and appropriate.

3. Why we use personal data

We may use personal data to:

  • respond to enquiries and communicate with you;
  • assess potential projects, suppliers, partnerships or commercial opportunities;
  • take steps at your request before entering into a contract;
  • manage ongoing business relationships;
  • protect the security, integrity and availability of our website and systems;
  • measure website use and successful enquiries through GA4 only where you have consented to analytics;
  • keep appropriate business records and establish, exercise or defend legal claims; and
  • comply with legal or regulatory obligations.

4. Lawful bases

Depending on the context, our lawful basis may be:

  • legitimate interests, including responding to business enquiries, operating and protecting the website, managing professional relationships and protecting BRANTSI's legal interests;
  • contract or pre-contract steps, where processing is necessary to enter into or perform an agreement with you; or
  • legal obligation, where we are required to process information by law.

Optional GA4 analytics is based on your consent. The Google tag is not loaded before you accept. You can reject analytics or withdraw consent through Cookie preferences in the website footer; see our Cookie Policy. Where consent is legally required for other activities, we will request it separately.

5. Who we may share data with

We may disclose personal data where reasonably necessary to service providers supporting hosting, email, IT, security, professional advice and business operations, and to public authorities where disclosure is required by law.

The website enquiry form is designed to send the information you submit to BRANTSI through our AWS-hosted website infrastructure and business email workflow. It is not intended to create a separate marketing database or subscribe you to promotional email.

We require service providers handling personal data on our behalf to do so only for appropriate purposes and subject to applicable data-protection obligations.

6. International processing

Some technology or service providers may process personal data outside the European Economic Area (EEA). Where the GDPR requires safeguards for an international transfer, BRANTSI will use an applicable lawful transfer mechanism or another permitted basis.

7. Retention

We retain personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, taking into account the nature of the relationship, contractual and regulatory requirements, security needs and applicable limitation periods. Enquiry correspondence that does not lead to an ongoing relationship is periodically reviewed and deleted when no longer needed.

The contact form itself is designed not to maintain a separate persistent lead database. Limited technical request and service logs may be retained temporarily by our infrastructure providers for security, reliability and troubleshooting.

8. Your rights

Subject to the GDPR and applicable Portuguese data-protection law, you may have rights to request access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability, or to object to certain processing.

To exercise a right, email hello@brantsi.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

9. Complaints

If you have a concern about our handling of personal data, please contact us first so we can address it. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Portuguese supervisory authority, Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (CNPD).

BRANTSI does not use this website to make solely automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about visitors.
